Students launch VR concert on Good Friday

These performances are going live at 11:00 on GoodFriday on the Strodelive Youtube Channel. The playlist has a countdown to the premiere. The pieces were filmed socially distanced in the Strodelive studios using a Ricoh Theta V 360degree camera placed in the middle mounted on a single microphone stand. The camera has a stereo microphone that captures decent sound in the room. On playback, the viewer can look around the room at the performance, by swiping the image or if using a phone, moving the phone in the physical space. It can also be viewed by an Oculus Rift or similar.
